About Us

Starting Over From Scratch

We sold the farm and moved to the new property.

What’s in a name?

Whiskey Throttle is a slang term used in motorsports for when a rider looses control, hits the throttle and looses even more control.  We picked this name for the farm because we tend to throw caution to the wind.

Stress and burnout from an everyday job got to be too much.  Stay at home mom guilt had me thinking I needed to do something to make money from home and my answer…..  goats.  In short it was a foolish thought, but in the process I fell in love with my babies and they became the star of the farm.  I am of course back to working a full-time day job to help keep them spoiled.  There is nothing more precious than a baby goat and the milk they produce is liquid gold. You will see us at fairs, homesteading events, church outreaches and more.

Why Nigerian Dwarf Goats?

Nigerian Dwarf goat milk is highest in naturally occurring butterfat content resulting in luxuriously creamy soaps.  Aside from soap the goats are rotten, beautiful and so much fun  to have around.

My soap looks different from the picture, is it the same thing?

Yup, for the most part.  Since each batch of soap is made individually by hand the ingredients and additives are the same but try as we may; the appearance can differ from batch to batch.  Sometimes we just want to change the design or mold for whatever reason.
